Right at the mouth of American Fork Canyon is a spectacular 18 hole course. The building and surrounding course are so gorgeous that Sleepy Ridge has become popular for weddings and other events. Sleepy Ridge’s course was designed to have a Scottish look and feel, which puts this course on the list! The crown jewel of this course is the massive clubhouse. On the other side of Utah Lake are The Links at Sleepy Ridge. This course wraps along the northwest shore of Utah Lake. Located in Saratoga Springs, Talons Cove is another great course to play. South Mountain is a short way around the point of the mountain, but it’s still a “must play.” South Mountain is positioned on the side of a hill, so the course terrain is incredible, and you almost always have a beautiful view of Salt Lake Valley. Fox Hollow does have quite a few water hazards, so make sure to bring a few extra balls! This is a great course, and it’s usually not too busy, so reserving a tee time is pretty straightforward.
